Just say oui to the French Press.

Anyone that already uses a French Press coffee maker knows how phenomenal they can be. It’s a four-minute, super-easy ritual that ends in total deliciousness overload.

The bottom line is that a French Press is probably the easiest, cheapest, and most fun way to get truly great coffee at home. Here are the basics:

  1. Add coffee to the clean and dry glass pot. 1 tablespoon coffee for 4oz of water.
  2. Using a stovetop or electric kettle, bring water to a boil and let it cool for about 30 seconds. Pour over the grounds evenly.
  3. Start a timer and let sit for four minutes.
  4. After the timer goes off, put plunger in place, and press evenly down. Pour immediately.
